FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Answers You Need

HOW ABOUT YOUR PRICES

We are very competitive and will always work with you to accommodate your budget.  We guarantee it. We will also give you a free estimate that requires our presence at the job site. We do not like giving prices over the phone or email. In order to present to you the best pricing, without hiding costs, we prefer to look at your project in person. For more information on our prices, check out our "Prices" page. Your satisfaction is important to us.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL PROCESS FOR WORKING WITH A NEW CUSTOMER?

We set up a time that is convenient for you. We listen to your needs, your vision and your expectations. Then we'll give you suggestions and present you with an estimate of the cost of your project. We will write out a very detail proposal so you can make an informed decision.  When you hire us, you become part of our team, so your vision is important to us.

WHAT EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING DO YOU HAVE THAT RELATES TO YOUR WORK?

We have extensive experience in residential interior and exterior painting. That's our specialty. We are a small team and we are skillful at what  we do. Our lines are straight and our work is done to perfection.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK?

Back in 2004 we built a 3500 sf home in Bartram Springs and custom painted it in 3 days. We realized then that we had a gift. Since that time we have worked with countless people to make their dreams come true. We love painting and enjoy the look on people's faces when they see their homes come alive.

DESCRIBE A RECENT PROJECT YOU ARE FOND OF. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE?

We recently painted a 2500 sf home on the west side of Jacksonville. The house was getting ready to be put on the market.  We did a complete color change. The house had a dark Tuscan look and the owner bought Accessible Beige from Sherwin-Williams. It turned out gorgeous.
The same week we did another house in the Rivertown community that went from an off white color to a very light coastal green. Amazing look!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A CUSTOMER LOOKING TO HIRE A PAINTING CONTRACTOR.

Don't hesitate to ask questions and communicate clearly what you expect. We're fond of putting everything on paper. It protects you and the company you hire. Remember that a professional will only deliver what you ask for, he cannot read your thoughts. He may deliver the best quality, but if you want your base board painted, you have to tell him. Remember, it is best to hire someone who is licensed and insured.

WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD CUSTOMERS THINK THROUGH BEFORE TALKING TO PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THEIR PROJECT?

Are you licensed and insured?

This is a very important questions to ask. Being licensed, specially in St Johns county, is required by law. Also when a painter acquires a license where it is required, it speaks of  his character. It means that he wants his clients to know that he is serious about his business.

Can you deliver on time?
Can you give me few references?
Do you have a website?

It is important to really know what your expectations are and communicate these expectations with the contractor before anything is agreed upon. This is always helpful, transparency is key for both parties. Always be willing to put everything on paper. It helps both sides.
