WHAT IT COSTS
The cost of paint depends on the quality. A lower quality paint typically has less resin (the resin is what actually holds the paint together), whereas high quality paint has more resin and holds up better over time. A gallon of paint can be anywhere from $15-$70. It really depends on quality, brand and the contractor’s discount you’re getting. We recommend our clients to use quality paint, it does make a difference. We use Sherwin-Williams paint. However, Benjamin Moore and Behr from Home Depot are great products as well.
Painting an average home between 1000 and 1,500 square feet can cost between $1,250 and $2,500. However, factors such as number of stories, wall repairs and ease of access can also affect the overall price. Homeowners report that the average cost to paint a house nationally is $2,581 and most pay between $1,800 and $3,682.
The average cost to paint the interior of a house falls between $1.50 and $2.50 per square foot. If you're doing the ceilings, walls and trim, the cost per square foot will likely fall between $3 and $3.50.
OUR PRICES
We charge $1.10 per SF and only use high quality paint. As a painting contractor we have a special discount on paint that we pass to our valued customers. If a client prefers to provide the paint, then we will discount the paint cost from our price. The 10% discount we offer our veterans, senior citizens and single mothers is not included in the price. We do quality work and work hard to ensure our clients are 100% satisfied. We will always do our best to work with your budget.
